Each space is meticulously designed to work around you, with flexible options that can be customised to suit specific requirements. ecoips also designs thermal building envelopes that are super energy efficient that are designed as pre-engineered as pods that can be shipped by truck or trailer, craned onto site, safely erected on on a pre-installed base, seamlessly stitched together in multiple configurations and selected finishes to suit your projects requirements. Health & Safety Supervision
DESIGN PHASE CONSTRUCTION PHASE
The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations and the Health Safety Authority (HSA) place responsibilities on Clients who are having design and construction work carried out on their homes. The Client's duties include the appointment of competent Designers and Contractors to carry out the work. The Client must appoint also appoint a 'competent' project supervisor for the design process (PSDP). The PSDP is appointed by the Client to oversee the coordination of the design work. With specialist knowledge in this area ecoips can provide the necessary guidance to ensure design and other project related risks are addressed and mitigated.
The Client must also appoint a 'competent' project supervisor for the construction phase process (PSCS). The role of the PSCS (construction stage) is to manage and co-ordinate health and safety matters during the construction stage.
Interior & Exterior Design
MATERIALITY LIGHT AND SPACE
Selected natural finishes, the feeling of health, security and wellbeing is what ecoips spaces are all about. We create our interiors with care and attention to detail with architecturally designed features to give your home or studio a contemporary appearance. Internal finishes, built in shelving, and workstations can be finished, combined and contrasted to create a feeling natural harmony and wellbeing. As if hewn from the same piece of wood, cocooned and protected with a beautifully framed view of garden, woodland or distant horizon with easy accessible transitions to outdoor rooms and spaces.

Building Control Amendment Act (BCAR)
CLIENT DESIGNER & BUILDER DUTIES
Under (BCAR) a client's duty is to appoint 'competent' persons 'the Assigned Certifier', 'the Designer' and 'the Builder' to ensure design and building works are carried out in compliance with the Building Regulations. This legislation came into force in 2014. It involves providing necessary information, coordinating the process, and submitting statutory documentation such as the Commencement Notice and Certificates of Compliance. In addition to our standard range of services ecoips can provide further advice, guidance and assistance as to 'the who, what, when and how' to our clients in this area and help tailor the project scope to suit your requirements.
